I do not think it is wrong to look at my newest shoe purchase and feel that warm comfortable feeling deep inside the way one would feel if looking at an old friend or a previous lover. Emotions are safe when you poor them into a designer shoe label and wrap them up in a cloth bag and set them in the closet to take out and wear with a new pair of skinny jeans. In fact I think as I approach 40 years of age, a successful mother and woman, I shall mark each new event in my life with a new pair of shoes--I will be damned if price will stop me, though I am a sucker for a bargain.
So with the first entry to my blog let me introduce you to "I am almost 38 and my adult children refuse to make good choices despite how I raised them!"
I love this shoe-I put it on and stare at my feet and there is NOTHING--I mean NOTHING wrong in the world.
